WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) -- The locks have been changed and everyone is being turned away after authorities raided the Raceway Convenience store in Watkins Glen on Monday, June 17th. According to the Watkins Glen Police Department, an unknown amount of marijuana was recovered, along with 20 pairs of counterfeit Nike sneakers.

Police said the seized sneakers were similar to counterfeit sneakers previously seized by police in Bath.

Located at 213 N Franklin Street, Sergeant Ethan Mosher of the Watkins Glen P.D. said Raceway Convenience was not a sticker shop, and was just selling marijuana directly.

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management was also on the scene, and according to police seized the store for illegal sales and possession of marijuana. That means the locks of have been changed, and all traffic into the store has been stopped until further notice.

Police also searched another location associated with Raceway Convenience, but would not specify where.

It's not the first time Raceway Convenience was raided by police. Authorities seized marijuana, weapons, cash and more during a raid at the business back in January, following a two-month long investigation.
