UPDATE 06/14/2024: The Carnival Rides and Treats at the Arnot Mall has officially returned for its second year.
 
"We have a bigger spread than we had last year," says Allen LaVenture, Marketing Director at the Carnival. "We're excited we've got 19 rides. We're gonna be here for the next two weeks and have a great time."
 
Admission and parking to the carnival are free. Ticket purchases are required for rides.
 
The carnival will run from June 13-16 and June 19-22.
 

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Mark your calendars for a fun-filled kick-off to summer event with carnival rides and treats at the Arnot Mall. This year's carnival is promised to be bigger and better than ever and will run from June 13-16 and June 19-22.

The expanded midway will have around 20 carnival rides. Including rides the Tilt-A-Whirl, bumper cars, and merry-go-round and other new attractions.

Food lovers should get ready with sweet and salty treats like gyros, Italian sausage, walking tacos, cotton candy, sno-cones, and candy apples.

Admission and parking is free, so the only thing guests need to pay for is rides, food and carnival games. All-you-can-ride wristbands are available for $30 on weekdays and $35 on Saturdays. Individual tickets cost $1.50 for each ride which range anywhere from 3-5 tickets depending on each ride.
