An approaching cold front will pass through the region late Thursday morning into the early afternoon hours with the chance for heavy rain and gusty winds.  Once the front passes through, drier conditions will push into the region through the rest of the afternoon with temperatures in the lower 80s.  It'll turn less humid by Friday, but an upper level low pressure system will linger over the region with scattered showers.  More showers are likely over the weekend with temperatures in the lower 70s.
