Pride Returns to the Twin Tiers this Week
TWIN TIERS (WENY) -- As June arrives in less than six days the Twin Tiers are set to celebrate Pride Month with a series of events, bringing the communities together here at home and worldwide. Here's a look at the key Pride events happening in the region.
- Saturday, June 1st: Elmira Pride is kicking off the celebrations. This event will occur at Wisner Park by the Park Church from 11 am to 4 pm.
- Saturday, June 8th: Corning's Southern Finger Lakes Pride will take over the downtown from 11 am through a community dance party starting at 5 pm.
- Sunday, June 9th: Downtown Ithaca Alliance will host "Pride in the Park," this is happening from 10 am to 4 pm.
- Saturday, June 22nd: Tioga Pride in Wellsboro at the Dean Center for Performing Arts in Wellsboro. The times are to be announced.
