Waverly man arrested on several drug charges, after reportedly found in stranger's car
WAVERLY, N.Y. (WENY) -- David A. Gantowski, 41, was arrested on Thursday, May 23rd after police investigated a report about a man entering a parked car on Broad Street in Waverly.
The Waverly Police Department got a call around 11:12 a.m. about a man getting into the backseat of an unlocked car and "passing out."
When authorities searched Gantowski, police found 24 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine, one gram of methylenedioxy-methamphetamine (MDMA,) and an assortment of benzodiazepine and alprazolam pills.
Gantkowski was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance; one count in the fourth degree and the other in the seventh degree.
His charges were read to him in the Village of Waverly Justice Court on Saturday, May 25th. Gantowski was released and is waiting for further legal action.
