Off-duty guards gather outside Elmira Correctional Facility

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- About 15-25 guards have gathered together outside the Elmira Correctional Facility on the morning of Friday, May 3rd. Some of the guards spoke to WENY News, and were adamant they were not protesting.
Instead they said they were showing solidarity for three guards they said were suspended. WENY News reached out to Elmira Correctional and was told they would have no comment.
