The unsettled weather pattern will be stick around into the end of the week and start of upcoming weekend. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with rain and snow showers into Saturday. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s. Snow accumulations will be minor with a slushy coating on grassy surfaces in the valleys in up to an inch for the hilltops. High pressure will build in the region for the second half of the weekend with clouds decreasing during the day. Highs will be seasonable in the mid-50s on Sunday. Early next week, a nice warming trend is in store as temperatures rise into the low to mid-60s on Monday and Tuesday under fair skies. Clouds will be on the increase on Wednesday with highs in the mid-60s.
