Second suspect in hit-and-run that critically injured Sheriff's Office Investigator taken into custody
BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The second suspect involved in the hit and run that critically injured a Chemung County Sheriff's Investigator has been taken into custody.
24-year-old Fatiuna Massaline was brought to the New York State Police barracks in Horseheads on Saturday, March 30th. WENY News was told she was taken into custody in Ithaca. Massaline was arraigned in Big Flats Town Court on one felony count of assault of a police officer, and one felony account of reckless endangerment. Bail was set at $100,000, or $200,000 bond.
Massaline is accused of being the driver in the hit-and-run crash that critically injured Chemung County Sheriff's Investigator Michael Theetge. The other suspect, 24-year-old Dominick Haley, is already behind bars.
