Dancers for Dogs fundraiser for the Chemung County SPCA
(WENY) -- Thomas A Edison High School seniors and New Visions Honors Academy students Amanda Hatfield and Alivia Bower have set up a fundraising event called, “Dancers for Dogs,” to raise money for the Chemung County SPCA. Hatfield and Bower are dancers and teamed up with the Leslie School of Dance to help put this event on.
"I feel like every single animal at the SPCA really deserves, like, a forever home," Bower said.
The event will take place on March 9th from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at 360Aurora, located at E 14th Street in Elmira Heights.
The event will have live entertainment, refreshments, and a raffle. People will be able to purchase raffle tickets for $1.00 to win prizes.
While the event is free to attend, Hatfield and Bower urge people to donate their choice to the Chemung County SPCA to help fund dog and cat food, toys, and other supplies the organization needs.
