Car crash in Chemung claims Binghamton man's life
CHEMUNG, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Binghamton man died after hitting a tree while driving his car Sunday in Chemung, according to New York State Police.
Troopers say 29-year-old Isiah Montgomery was driving west on County Road 60 through the town of Chemung. He came to a curve, and couldn't navigate it. His car shot off the road and into a tree, which killed him.
The Chemung County Coroner pronounced Montgomery dead at the scene of the crash.
New York State Police say their investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
