A wintry mix consisting of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will develop Tuesday morning. This will continue off and on throughout the day into Tuesday night. Accumulations will be light between 1-3", but plan on slippery and slick road conditions for both commutes. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Twin Tiers until 7 PM Tuesday night. Highs will rise into the low and mid-30s. Overnight, the wintry mix will transition to mainly rain showers by Wednesday morning. Temperatures continue to rise into the mid-40s with occasional showers during the day. We will continue a warming trend to end out the week with highs in the lower-50s on Thursday and Friday. A few showers will be possible both days. Cloudy skies will continue into the weekend with temperatures slightly cooler on Saturday with highs in the low to mid-40s. Another system will move in from the south on Sunday with the chance for rain and snow showers. Highs will be cooler down towards seasonable Sunday and Monday as temperatures will be in the low to mid-30s. Drier conditions return on Monday.
