Winter Weather Advisory Issued

A winter weather advisory has been issued for our region through 7 am Wednesday as we're tracking a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain headed our way. The wintry mix will begin by 9 am Tuesday for much of our region and the precipitation will pick up heading into the afternoon hours. Temperatures will slowly rise into the mid 30s, which should help limit accumulations to 1-3" for much of the region. The snow and sleet will transition over to rain by Wednesday morning as temperatures rise into the 40s.
