A few snow showers are possible this morning but winter weather is on it's way out following today. Winds out of the Northwest will keep the region cool in the short term. Temperatures will begin a long climb after today, highs are expected to be above freezing all throughout next week.

High pressure keeps the region dry until Tuesday when the next major system enters the region and begins a multi-day rain event for the Twin Tiers. A wintry mix is possible Tuesday especially in higher elevations. Highs climb into the 40s by Wednesday but the rain continues to soak the region.

Additional rain late week may elevate flooding concerns in low-lying areas. So far rain is expected throughout Friday. Overcast conditions persist into next weekend as a cold front drapes over the region and dries things out. All the while morning low temperatures could be as high as 20 degrees above average.
