Temperatures in 20s This Week; Back to 30s Early Next Week
Light snow will continue Tuesday with a slick morning commute expected. A dry, powdery snow is likely with snowfall accumulations 1-2" with localized higher amounts in the hilltops. Bradford county and Tioga (NY) are in winter weather advisories until 4 PM Tuesday afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid-20s.Low pressure continues to work up the east coast and will move on out of the region tonight. Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight with temperatures falling into the single digits! Fair skies will continue Wednesday, but slightly colder with highs around 20. More clouds move in Thursday with the chance for a few snow showers later in the day. Highs will be warmer than Wednesday, but still below-average in the upper-20s. There will be a greater chance for light snow on Friday as low pressure moves through the Midwest and into the Mid-Atlantic Coast. Accumulations are looking to be on the light side with a few inches possible. Temperatures will end out the week in the mid-20s. Behind the system, clouds will linger, and a few snow showers will remain possible. Also, temperatures will be in the mid-teens as high pressure builds. Fair skies and drier conditions return on Sunday and Monday. We are looking to finally get out of the 20s as highs will be in the mid-20s Sunday and mid-30s on Monday.
