Cooling Down Throughout the Day
Thursday will start off with snow showers and even the possible snow squall in the morning as breezy conditions out of the northwest will be likely. There could be some slick spots, especially on bridges and overpasses this morning, so be cautious! By the afternoon, we will see partly sunny skies and temperatures dropping through the 20s. Remember to bundle up today! Overnight, partly cloudy and cold conditions are likely. Temperatures will be in the mid-teens. Fair skies will continue Friday with highs around average in the mid-30s. Clouds begin to increase this weekend as low pressure will push up the coast. Snow showers will begin to develop later in the afternoon Saturday, becoming steadier into the evening and overnight. Snow showers begin to taper Sunday morning, but a few lingering snow showers into the afternoon will remain possible. Highs will remain in the mid-30s over the course of the weekend. Drier conditions make their return on Monday with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper-30s. However, another low pressure system will move through the Midwest and towards us on Tuesday. A wintry mix will be likely into the afternoon and change to rain showers as temperatures rise into the lower-40s Tuesday night. Rain is looking to change back to snow showers Wednesday as cooler temperatures settle in.
