United Way of the Southern Tier announces year end numbers

SOUTHERN TIER, N.Y. (WENY) -- With the New Year right around the corner, the United Way of the Southern Tier took a moment to reflect back on 2023 on Wednesday, December 20th. According to the non-profit, over 4,500 kids got books every month through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, 1,553 senior citizens got meals delivered to their home, 845 kids got healthcare and 451 people were given help following domestic violence.
Along with announcing the numbers, the United Way said it wants to thank everyone who makes it possible for the non-profit to carry out its mission.
