Fire damages home in Hornby

HORNBY, N.Y. (WENY) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in Hornby on Tuesday night around 5:15 PM. The fire happened on Kerrick Hollow Road.
Crews worked to put out the fire as the home was engulfed in smoke. Firefighters from the Hornby Fire Department, Corning Fire Department, Painted Post Fire Department, and Beaver Dam Fire Department were all on scene.
There is no word at this time if there were any injuries, or the cause of the fire.
