TIOGA COUNTY, NY (WENY) -- A 13th suspect has been charged in the investigation into the abduction and murder of a man from Ithaca earlier this year.

New York State Police announced a Tioga County Grand Jury has indicted 41-year-old David Maycumber of Newfield, on charges of 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, first degree kidnapping, and intimidating a witness. All of the charges are felonies.

According to state police, Rath was forcibly abducted from the homeless encampment known as "the jungle" on May 20th. On May 26th, investigators with the Ithaca Police Department determined Rath's disappearance was suspicious.

On May 31st, a search warrant was executed at a home on Benjamin Hill Road in Newfield, based on information that Rath had been there. A few days later, on June 2nd, authorities conducted a large-scale search of the area, and later executed over 40 search warrants at various locations.

Rath's remains were discovered on August 3rd, buried in a shallow grave on state game lands in Candor, in Tioga County.

On August 16th, began arresting suspects, initially taking ten people in custody, with three additional arrests taking place in the months following.

To date, the following people have been arrested and charged in connection with Rath's kidnapping and murder:

Colleen E. Dillon, age 31, Newfield, NY
