Wintry Mix to Start; Rain Showers to End the Day
Clouds will be on the increase on Tuesday followed by a mix of rain and snow showers going into the afternoon as a warm front approaches. A slushy coating of accumulation is possible, especially across the higher terrain. Therefore, you could see some slick roads in the afternoon, so take extra time. Temperatures will be rising out of the 30s and continue to rise into the 40s after the sun sets. Windy conditions will be likely today with gusts upwards of 35 mph. The rain and snow showers will change to all rain showers Tuesday evening and continue overnight as temperatures hold in the 40s. A few showers cannot be ruled out Wednesday morning as the system exits the region. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around during the day as highs rise into the lower-50s. The 50s will continue Thanksgiving under fair skies. Some cooler temperatures will end out the week with highs in the lower-40s Friday under partly sunny skies. More clouds arrive Saturday with temperatures in the upper-30s, close to 40. A system will approach from the West later in the day Sunday with scattered showers possible. Showers will continue into early next week with temperatures in the low to mid-40s.
