HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Nonprofit organization, Runway for a Cause, is hosting their fourth annual fashion show on Nov. 18th at The L.

The beneficiary for the fashion shows this year is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chemung County who help and work with abused and neglected children by offering services through the program.

Saufley says she’s proud to be able to bring more awareness and fundraising through her show.

“We have 12 different designers coming from all over, and they are going to represent their collections, their designs that they've been working on, for months on end, and showcase a little bit of fashion, and mix it with some fundraising with two different shows.”

This year has the most designers coming from all around with more than 60 models. In turn, now the show has been split into two different segments explained Saufley.

“This year we have brunch segment with women's and children's wear starting at 1 o'clock p. m. and then [at] 6:30 we have our street wear and costume or Avant Garde. And it's super exciting to be able to represent all different kinds of styles and designs and the creativity from our designers, all while helping a good cause.”

Saufley says attendees can also take advantage of getting more involved with volunteering opportunities and help fundraise for future events.

"CASA will have representatives there at a table. You can absolutely talk with them, see how you can get involved. and for the coming new year of 2024, you can reach out onto our website, our social media and just let us know how you want to help.”

Tickets for general admission for the first or second show is $20, or $30 for VIP. General admission for both shows is $30, or $60 for VIP. Attendees can purchase by visiting the venue’s site and to see what designers will be at the show visit Runway for a Cause Facebook page.
