ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- Winter is just about here, and too many kids across the Southern Tier don't have a proper winter coat.

WENY-TV is once again partnering with Williams Honda for Operation Winter Coat - giving the gift of a warm coat to a child in need. You can donate a new with tags child's winter coat at the Williams Honda showroom at 945 County Road 64 in Elmira, or make a monetary donation that will be put towards a coat purchase for a child.

The coats will be delivered to children who need them in the Elmira City School District in mid-December. To date, Operation Winter Coat has donated over 600 coats to kids in Elmira since 2018.
