Cooler Wednesday; Showers Return Tonight

Wednesday will start off partly sunny with clouds increasing throughout the day as a warm front approaches. Temperatures will be on the cooler side in the mid-40s. By the evening, scattered rain showers will begin to move into the Twin Tiers. A brief wintry mix cannot be ruled out, especially in the higher elevations. This could make for a slick commute Thursday morning for some. Lows will fall into the mid and upper-30s. We will warm up for Thursday as highs will be nearly 10 degrees above-average, around 60 degrees. Scattered showers will be possible for the first half of the day, and begin to taper off in the afternoon. Drier weather moves in Friday with highs in the lower-50s. A cooling trend is likely to continue this weekend with highs in the mid to upper-40s. Partly sunny skies are expected. The fair skies will continue early next week as temperatures will be on the climb through the 40s and into the low to mid-50s Tuesday.
