Cool start to week followed by unseasonably warm temperatures

A chilly start to Monday will give way to seasonable temperatures this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper-50s. Lots of sunshine is expected today with winds calming down. Tonight, partly cloudy skies are expected with lows in the mid to upper-30s. High pressure will be building throughout the first half of the week with temperatures on the rise. Highs will be in the mid to upper-60s on Tuesday, and nearly 15 degrees above-average by Wednesday with highs in the low to mid-70s! Partly sunny skies are expected Tuesday and into Wednesday. A weak system will pass by Wednesday night and could result in some showers into Thursday morning. Otherwise, we are expecting dry conditions Thursday and Friday with temperatures continuing unseasonably above-average in the mid-70s. However, as we look ahead to the upcoming weekend, we could see the potential for another rainy weekend. Scattered showers will be possible Saturday and Sunday with highs cooling down through the 60s.
