Potter County Man Charged with Attempted Murder

GALETON, PA (WENY) -- A Potter County, Pennsylvania man faces charges of attempted homicide, after a shooting over the weekend.
Pennsylvania State Police in Coudersport charged 59-year-old Robert M. Wildey of Gaines with Attempted Homicide. According to police, on September 10th, Wildey is accused of shooting a 48-year-old man in the arm at a home in Galeton, around 1:30PM.
Police say Wildey then fled the scene. He was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 11th.
Police did not provide an update on the status of the victim.
