Soggy Start
Patchy fog will reduce visibility this morning for some, but expect partly sunny skies to follow on Monday. It will be a soggy start to the day, so you might want to think about rain boots this morning. Most of the flash flooding warnings are expected to expire by 5:30 AM, with mostly drier conditions to follow. A stray shower cannot be ruled out with highs in the mid-70s. Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight tonight with drier conditions and lows falling into the upper-50s. Patchy fog will develop after midnight and could impact your Tuesday morning commute. Cooler temperatures compared to last week, will continue through the mid-week and into the late-week. Highs will top off around 80 Tuesday under partly sunny skies. A shower cannot be ruled out throughout the day, but the greater chance will be in the late afternoon and evening as a cold front arrives. Behind the front, temperatures will drop to around 70 for Wednesday with a few showers possible. We will likely fall into the upper-60s Thursday and Friday with drier weather and partly sunny skies. Next weekend, we could see temperatures warming back up into the low to mid-70s under partly sunny skies. We will continue to monitor Hurricane Lee as it approaches the Northeastern coast. As of now, models do keep it off the coast.
