HORSEHEADS, NY (WENY) -- An anchor store at the Arnot Mall says it's leaving for a new location elsewhere.

H.L. Stephens Furniture announced it is moving out of the Arnot Mall. The furniture store will re-locate to a new location at the Shops at Chambers, a shopping plaza just across the road from the mall, on Chambers Road.

The store has been its current location since 2017, but has been an Arnot Mall tenant for much longer.

This is the latest anchor store to leave the Arnot Mall; in recent years, retailers like Macy's, Bon-Ton, and Sears have all closed.
