NY State Sen. Lea Webb opens Ithaca office
ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- State and local officials joined New York State Senator Lea Webb on Monday, August 21st, for the ribbon cutting of her new Ithaca based office. Located on Aurora Street in Downtown Ithaca, it is the first New York State Senate office located in Tompkins County in more than a decade.
"We want to make sure that government is accessible to our residents here in Tompkins County, that we are able to have an opportunity to not only hear concerns, but also hear ideas and grow our understanding of what our community needs," said Webb.
Webb went on to say that she hopes the office will help bring regional stakeholders together.
