WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) - NASCAR drivers are competing hard on the track at Watkins Glen International, but so are their teams behind the scenes. WENY's Ryan Campbell rode in a hauler and took a full tour to see the ins and outs of how teams prepare for a successful race every week.

Jerry Tuttle has been driving truck since he was 16, and driving for NASCAR since 2002. Tuttle currently drives for Kyle Busch's Richard Childress Racing team. He discussed how they prepare the truck for transportation before parking at the track.

"We clean them at the shop, get everything ready, and then when we get here, we get the trucks washed and cleaned up before we park them so it's a never-ending process pretty much," Tuttle said. "It doesn't take that long to load the trucks up, twenty minutes, we put the cars in there, everything's cleaned up so we just push the equipment in and it's all good."
