SCHUYLER COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) --  Schuyler County has a new interim county administrator, after the last one left.

The former admin, Fonda Chronis, was placed on paid leave for unknown reasons. He later left his job with the county effective July 28th. The county has still not disclosed why Chronis was placed on leave.

In the meantime, on Monday night, the county legislature approved a resolution which appointed Shawn Rosno as the interim administrator. Rosno will remain in that position until the position is filled, or if "other arrangements" are made.
