PennDOT to hold job fair in Bradford County on Aug. 17th

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA (WENY) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a job fair is coming to Bradford County in a push to hire more people into the department. Set for 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 17th at the Bradford County Maintenance office in Towanda, multiple positions will be up for discussion.
Those positions include Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee, Transportation Equipment Operator A, Welder, and Seasonal Winter Operators. Recruiters will be on hand to discuss current and future openings within the Commonwealth for CDL operators.
On-the-spot applications will take place, but any interested applicants for the Transportation Equipment Operator A must bring their current CDL license. According to PennDOT these positions also require a current medical examiner certificate.
Along with recruiters, current staff will also be on hand to discuss opportunities for permanent employment.
