MANSFIELD, P.A. (WENY) - Children that live in the Southern Tioga school district will soon be eligible to receive free sneakers.

The Mansfield Shoe Bank is hosting a shoe giveaway Saturday, August 11th from 9:30 A.M. until 12 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church on East Wellsboro Street in Mansfield.

Free shoes are available for kids up to age eighteen.

Infants up to age three can get a pair of shoes every three months and children from three to eighteen can get a pair of shoes every six months.

A reminder that all children must be present to receive a pair of sneakers and that people in attendance are asked to bring the child's proof of assistance with them.
