As students prepare to head back to the classroom, the Millcreek School District is in need of additional bus drivers.

The company First Student servers as Millcreek's transportation provider.

The district runs 75 bus routes throughout the school year.

As it stands right now, the district has 68 drivers. According to Millcreek School District Superintendent Trevor Murnock, the district hopes to add at least seven additional drivers.

"We have 90 buses in fleet and we run between 70 to 75 buses," said Murnock. "That is strictly due to the drivers that we can get."

The starting pay is $18.80 an hour. First Student provides training, so no experience is necessary.

"We certainly are always looking for new applicants," said Murnock. "We're looking for new drivers. We encourage everyone to please go to our website and take a look if you're interested."
