Stormy Thursday
Our next system will move through Thursday with showers and thunderstorms likely, especially through early afternoon. At times, some storms could contain breezy conditions and heavy downpours that may lead to localized flash flooding. Clouds will decrease throughout the day and drier weather moves in by the evening. Temperatures will be below-average in the mid-70s. Partly cloudy overnight tonight with lows in the mid to upper-50s. High pressure returns to the Twin Tiers on Friday. Mostly sunny skies are expected as temperatures rise back into the lower-80s. However, the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms will return to start off the weekend. Highs remain in the low to mid-80s Saturday as well as Sunday. Mostly sunny skies return by the end of the weekend. We will start off with lots of sunshine Monday, but clouds will increase during the day as our next low pressure system approaches. Temperatures will stay in the 80s Monday, but drop into the upper-70s Tuesday. Showers will be likely Monday night into Tuesday. Drier weather will follow Wednesday and highs back into the lower-80s.
