Wildfire smoke will return to the Twin Tiers today, which will result in the unhealthy air quality coming back. Hazy sunshine is expected with hot and humid conditions continuing. Temperatures will be in the upper-80s. A disturbance will approach from our West tonight and result in showers and thunderstorms developing overnight. Highs will be in the mid-80s Tuesday with showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the day. Most showers will taper off by Tuesday night as the system quickly exits the region. Drier weather moves in briefly Wednesday with highs in the lower-80s. However, another system will pass by Thursday night into Friday. Now, most of Thursday will be on the dry side in the mid-80s under partly sunny skies. Showers and thunderstorms will develop Thursday night and continue for Friday. Highs will continue in the low to mid-80s. Some lingering rain showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out to start off Saturday, but most of the day will be dry. Temperatures will be cooler in the upper-70s followed by the 80s Sunday. Drier weather moves back in under partly sunny skies.
