BRADFORD COUNTY, PA (WENY) -- The Lynch-Bustin Elementary School in Athens is set to host the 22nd Bradford County Senior Expo on Friday July 21st. Hosted by Pennsylvania State Rep. Tina Picket (R-Bradford), and will include a town hall meeting with a state officials on how to prevent identity theft. 

“This free event is always one of the highlights of our year, as I can visit with the hundreds of seniors who take the time to stop by and learn about the wide variety of programs and services available to them in our area,” said Pickett.

During the Senior Expo dozens of exhibitors will be available to provide information on health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning,  government services, veterans benefits and more. On top of that a free paper shredding service will be available from 10 a.m. to noon courtesy of North Central Sight Services (two-box limit). 

Attendees will also be given the opportunity to safely dispose of expired prescription drugs at the drop-off box provided by the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office.

Lynch-Bustin Elementary School is located at 253 Pennsylvania Ave. in Athens. Attendees are being asked to take the second Athens business exit off U.S. Route 220 to Pine Street where a shuttle service will be available to take them to the building’s front door. The school will be air-conditioned.
