ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- The annual Elmira Street Painting Festival is returning to downtown Elmira for the 2023 summer season.

The festival celebrates creativity of all experience levels, using chalk as the medium to bring color to West Water and Main Streets in Elmira. Artists will spend two days creating works of art on the asphalt, where visitors can walk between and view the works in progress.

The event will also feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and more.
