Morrissey Walsh joined the WENY News Team in June of 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist.  Originally from Audubon, NJ she is excited to start her career in the Twin Tiers! 

Morrissey graduated summa cum laude from York College with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in American History.  While at YCP, she was involved both on camera and behind the scenes in the studio, had a show on the radio station, and was captain of the tennis team.  In the spring of 2022, Morrissey interned at WBAL-TV 11 in Baltimore, MD, where she gained a lot of practical experience and knowledge about the industry.  It has been her dream to work at a television station since elementary school!

When she’s not in the newsroom, you can find Morrissey on the tennis courts or out exploring with friends!
