Karina Norman joined the WENY Sports team in June 2023, after previously interning for WENY News for two summers.

Karina received her undergraduate degree in Television/Digital Media Production from Ithaca College in 2023. While at IC, she was involved in ICTV, where she reported on Cornell University hockey. She was also a part of the dance team and has been dancing since she was four. 

Karina grew up in Northern New York, graduating from Madrid-Waddington High School. Her love for sports comes from going to Clarkson University Men’s hockey games with her family. Her passion for media and broadcast comes from being involved in the IT Club in middle school, where she gave the school daily news. 

Her favorite professional sports teams are the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and the New York Mets. Outside of work, Karina enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
