Fire damages home in Elmira
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Around 5 p.m. on Sunday, fire crews responded to a fire on the 900 block of Johnson Street in Elmira.
According to a firefighter on scene, the fire happened on the outside of the home.
Fire officials said the resident who was home at the time, was able to put out most of the fire until crews arrived on scene.
Fire officials said no one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
