MONTOUR FALLS, NY (WENY) -- The Montour Falls Fire Department will host its annual Festival and Parade this week.

Festivities kick off Thursday evening with rides and vendors opening at 6 P.M. on Clawson Boulevard.  The festival also opens at 6 P.M. on Friday, and noon on Saturday. The event includes a midway with rides and games, and activities like bingo, raffles and a cornhole tournament.

There will be live music each night, on the Greiger's Marine Services Stage. 

The parade will begin at 5 P.M. sharp, and travels down Main Street, includes a parade of bands, including several area marching bands.

A chicken BBQ will be held on Friday starting at 6PM, and on Saturday beginning at 11 A.M. until gone. 

Ride tickets are $1.50 each, or 25 tickets for $35.00. Ride bracelets are available each day for $30.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Montour Falls Fire Department Equipment fund.
