Wet Weather Ahead
Friday will start off on the dry side with showers developing during the afternoon. Highs will rise into the upper-50s with breezy conditions this afternoon. Rain showers will get steadier into Friday night and the winds will pick up. Rainfall into Saturday morning will be around half of an inch. Scattered showers will continue into Saturday as temperatures rise into the mid-50s. Gusty winds are likely during the day. Another system, but a little stronger than the first will bring more rain showers to the Twin Tiers Sunday into Monday. Rainfall amounts will range from 1-2" resulting in minor flooding along creeks and streams. The First Warning Weather Team will continue to monitor the system. Highs will be in the lower-60s ahead of the system Sunday. Behind the system cooler weather is expected with highs in the upper-50s with more scattered showers. A few peaks of sunshine are possible on Monday followed by more cloud cover and temperatures in the low to mid-50s. Scattered rain showers will continue for a majority of the week. Highs rising into the upper-50s by Thursday.
