The Empire Royals are Florida bound for "The One"
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Empire Royals are on their flight to Orlando, Florida. The team has been around for less than three years, and they are off to "The One."
"It really is a moment for them to celebrate, but winning isn't everything, mine or (Madison: Mini's,) if they go out there and they hit zero, which means they have a routine where nothing falls, no one falls, you know nobody omits any tumbling, you know, that is our biggest goal," said Junior Coach Shannon Kelim.
All three coaches agree it's about the journey, and not the destination. Both the Empire Mini's and Juniors have come a long way. This weekend is about being a family.
WENY will follow the team's progress at the competition and update this article with how they do. Wishing them the best of luck.
