ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - A fourth man has been indicted in connection to a shooting that took place at Qountry Tavern in January.

According to court documents, 37-year-old Tasheam Jackson was indicted on the charge of 2nd Degree Murder. The documents say that Jackson allegedly acted with others to cause the death of 34-year-old Jeremy Shazer back on January 21st.

This is the fourth indictment in the case following the arrest and indictment of 29 year old Shamel Swan, 26 year old Zemuyah Graham, and 23 year old Micah Brown.

The night of the incident, Elmira Police Officers responded to a shooting on West Miller Street.

According to police, when officers arrived, they located the shooting victim , 34-year-old Jeremy Shazer, who was in the driver's seat of a car.

Shazer was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
