HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Chemung County Health Department and Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA will be hosting a free rabies clinic at the Horseheads Town Hall, tomorrow afternoon.

The clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The organizations are asking pet owners to keep all dogs on a leash or securely confined. All cats and ferrets must be securely confined, as well. Pet owners must be able to hold their pets during the vaccination process.

The organizations want pet owners to bring proof of previous vaccinations in order to receive a rabies certificate that will be good for three years.
