Clemens Center Gala happening next month
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Elmira Clemens Center is hosting "Backstage Pass", their biggest fundraiser of the year next month on April 22. The fundraiser is a gala which features a tour of the Clemens Center backstage area.
The fundraiser also includes hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, live and silent auctions, wine pull, a dance party and dessert.
"Local businesses have really stepped up. A ton of them have been donating these amazing packages. So, we're gonna have a nice array of things for people to bid on," said Kate Fuller, director of development for the Clemens Center.
The event will also feature a mentalist and mind-reader, Christopher Grace, who was recently featured on the television series, 'Penn and Teller: Fool Us'.
The theatre this year is hoping to fundraiser $70,000.
You can buy tickets for the event here. VIP passes cost $125, while individual tickets cost $75. Backstage Pass is happening April 22 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
