Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies Investigating Suspicious Death

LANSING, N.Y. (WENY) - Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a suspicious death in the town of Lansing.
According to the Sheriff's Office, on March 5th, deputies responded to a home in Lansing for a reported cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, deputies located a man identified as 71 year old Joseph West of Ithaca.
The Sheriff's Office says that the death was reported to be an unattended death which means that there were no witnesses.
The Sheriff's Office says the death is being investigated as a suspicious death.
