Car Removed From Susquehanna River in Sayre

SAYRE, P.A. (WENY) - A car that drove into the Susquehanna River in Sayre on Wednesday was successfully removed by crews.
According to the Bradford County Department of Public Safety, multiple police and fire agencies worked for about 30 minutes to the car out of the river.
As WENY News first reported, a person who lives nearby said the car went over the guardrail on Riverside Drive around 2:30 p.m. before crashing into the river. The eyewitness told police that they saw a person standing on top of the car after the car started to submerge.
The man was eventually brought to safety by a water rescue team.
