AT&T Boosts Network Speeds for Steuben County

JASPER, N.Y. (WENY) - In an effort to bring customers more access to mobile internet, AT&T is adding a new cell site in Steuben County.
The company made the announcement on Monday and said that the new cell site is located in the town of Jasper.
AT&T says that customers who are also first responders on the FirstNet service will have more access to mobile internet. AT&T says that from 2019 to 2021, the company invested more than $1.6 billion dollars in wireless networks in the empire state.
"At AT&T, we're continuing to invest in our mobile broadband network in counties and communities across the state to make connections easier for residents, visitors, businesses and first responders throughout New York," said John Emra, President, AT&T Atlantic Region. "These investments add to the quality of life, commercial vitality, public safety, innovative spirit and economic competitiveness across the Empire State."
