Waverly home destroyed by fire
WAVERLY, N.Y. (WENY) -- A home in Waverly was destroyed by a fire early Tuesday morning.
The fire happened on Lyman Avenue sometime around 12:05 a.m.
Crews worked to put out the flames as a nearby electrical line was sparking.
According to the Waverly Fire Department, the home was vacant at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation. The home is a total loss.
