CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - Corning Inc. announced today that it will continue a collaboration with LG electronics to create curved display modules for vehicle interiors. 

The two companies first partnered together in 2020 with the goal of expanding automotive interior design possibilities.

According to Corning, coldform technology will allow curved displays to be developed with a 25 percent carbon reduction compared to traditional glass forming.

Along with dropping the carbon footprint, Corning said the displays will be more economical.
